I have to comment on the color choice....
We have had a wonderful last month and we are so sorry it has been so long since we have written anything, but I guess maybe that is a good sign that we have been busy bees!
This past month we started of the new service year, had a CO visit, and yesterday we had our Special Assembly Day. To say the least it has been a spiritual filled month and just the needed boost to get ahead with our service year.
We normally have an English speaking CO for our visits but this time the brother and his wife (who are originally from the US) had to be back in the states for an extended period of time. So we had our visit in Spanish, fortunately a couple of the brothers in our Congregation translated the CO's talks for us live. It made us appreciate all the more the effort, time, and consideration that is given to translating our publications by the translating departments. We were so encouraged with the information we received in our native tongue.
The Special Day was our first assembly ever in Spanish. It was a great experience and wonderful to see all the brothers and sisters from the circuit whom we have never met before. Of course neither of us could understand fully the assembly but just being a part of it was encouraging. We had 500 more in attendance than our circuit total and we had 12 new ones get baptized young and old!
Here a few pictures of the assembly.

Hey, great to hear from y'all! We were wondering what was the latest haps in Chile. Sounds like you're super busy. Thanks for the update. Love you guys!
Color choices aside, that looks like a great venue, and you both look great! Enjoy your service year, maybe we'll be practically to the southern hemisphere by the new year... Hope you meet up with you somewhere in South America.
Love, Wade and Kristin
Hi there. Thanks for sharing! Missing you. Love, the Brunette Family.
Nice to hear the update. I noticed the very important coffee mug in Derek's hand. How's the java there? Keep up the hard work. ciao
Keep up the great work for Jehovah!
We miss you terribly and hope to see you soon! The only thing that makes it bearable, that you guys are so far away,.....is that you are doing it for the right reason.
We are proud of you two!
