It has been a while since we have written a post, but we have been actively searching for an apartment in order to get all settled in to our new home here in Vina Del Mar. After searching through many different apartments in many different areas we finally decided on one. It is small, but very clean and in a safe area! Also it is close to everything so we can walk to the Kingdom Hall (about a 10 minute walk), markets, bus stops, etc. We will only need to take a bus when preaching in the neighboring towns. Also it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach! The apartment came fully furnished as well which sealed the deal so we don't have to buy any furnishings, not to mention it has a desk and area for Derek to work which is a necessity and was very hard to find. For the last week we have been getting settled in, unpacking all of our clothes, organizing, searching out local markets, and just trying to get into "our" schedule. Since March 7th we have been living out of our suitcases traveling from one place to the next so it was a good feeling to finally have our clothes all hung up and unwrinkled, as well as a solid nights sleep in our own bed. This coming weekend is our Circuit Assembly in Spanish (which we already had in English in Oregon, whew) and we are looking forward to it! Here are a few pictures of our apartment, the nearby areas, and our beautiful park which is a 5 minute walk away! More next week after a full week & weekend of the ministry and assembly....
